How to Configure an SSH Key on a New Server

How to configure an SSH key during the server setup process?

To be registered on the Jotelulu platform and have signed in using your username and password.
Have administrator permissions and permissions to create servers.
To be in the process of deploying a server as part of your Servers subscription.

Step 1. Configure an SSH key during the server setup process

The final step of the Server creation process is entitled “Name” (1). At this point, enter the name (2) that you wish to give to the server and click on the ‘+’ symbol below “Choose an SSH Key” (3).

A window will open asking for a name for the SSH key (4). Next, select Generate a New Key (5) and click on Add (6).

Next, a window will open showing the private key. You should copy and save this key now because you will not be able to see it again later. Once you have done this, click on Confirm (7).

The platform will now return to the final step of the server creation process. Here, you will now have the option to select the SSH key that you have just created (8). Then, click on Create Server (9).

Now that you have created the server, you will be able to connect to it using an SSH connection.
