How to Set User Permissions on Jotelulu

Many Jotelulu services require certain user permissions. In this tutorial, you will learn how to manage permissions on the platform and assign different access rights to each user.

How to set user permissions on the Jotelulu platform

Before you get started

To successfully complete this tutorial and set user permissions, you simply need to be registered on the Jotelulu platform and have logged in.

Part 1 – Access the User management page

Once logged in to the platform, click on “Organisation” in the top menu (1).

Part 1 – Click on “Permissions”

The permissions settings are quite simple to change. All you need to do is mark “on” or “off” for each one of the permissions displayed.

One setting you can change here is access to the platform (6). By changing this setting, you can configure the user to only access the service they need or to also have access to the administration panel.

Another change you can make here is to provide a user with administrator rights for the organisation(7). This will enable or disable access to subsections of the platform related to the organisation, such as the organisation profile, user settings, payment method, etc.

Finally, there is also the option to set individual permissions for each different section of the organisation (8). These sections include the organisation profile, user profiles, payment method, contacts, etc.

The same process applies to other sections such as “Permissions for Subscriptions”, where you can provide access to services such as file storage, remote desktop, servers, cloud PBX and the Partner Area. You can set individual permissions for each of these services individually.

Lastly, but most importantly, you must be sure to click on “Save” (9) after making your changes. If you leave the page without clicking on “Save”, you will lose your changes.
