How to enrol a client in the HDS service

Jotelulu’s HDS (Health Data Hosting — Hébergement de Données de Santé) service allows you to host and manage health data in compliance with French regulations.
If you are a partner, enabling HDS for your clients lets you offer certified services, strengthen trust in the healthcare sector, and access new regulated business opportunities.

1. Introduction

In this tutorial, you will learn to:

• Check the prerequisites to enable HDS.

• Register a client with HDS certification from the admin console.

2. Prerequisites

Before you can enable the HDS service:

• Your organisation must be registered on Jotelulu as a partner.

The client must meet the following criteria:

• Location: France 🇫🇷

• Sector: Healthcare or Social Services

The HDS tab only appears if the client meets both the country and sector criteria.

3. Step by step: registering an HDS client

3.1 Create or select a client

• Go to the dashboard and open the Clients section.

• Select an existing client or create a new one.

   

3.2 Access the HDS tab

• In the client record, click the HDS tab.

• The Register for HDS option will be available.

Note: If you do not see the tab, verify the country and sector criteria.

3.3 Accept the HDS-specific Terms

Before finalising the registration, you must accept the HDS-specific Terms of Service (ToS), which will be publicly available.
This step is mandatory to meet certification requirements.

3.4 Activate the HDS service

• Click Register for HDS.

• Enter the security contact email address for notifications and requests related to certification or security. All information regarding certification or any incident will be sent to this address (HDS requirement).

• Confirm activation.

   

3.5 Confirmation

• The client will be automatically registered as an HDS Client.

• In the dashboard, they will appear with the HDS Active label.

• HDS Certificate: official document attesting to regulatory compliance.

• HDS Audit Report: details of the security review.
