About this Role

The Jotelulu Product team is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our customer-facing software team, support our growing engineering team, and ensure the quality and reliability of our SaaS platform. You will work closely with developers and product managers in an Agile Scrum environment, performing both manual and automated testing to validate new features and prevent regressions.

We are scaling our catalog of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services and need experienced professionals to help us build a robust and scalable cloud platform. You’ll be part of a fun, fast-paced, collaborative team that values quality, security, and user experience.

This is a fully remote role based in Spain. While we have offices in Madrid (Plaza España) and welcome everyone to join us, our software engineering team is spread across multiple cities, making us a remote-friendly company.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about software quality, takes initiative, and delivers high-impact testing solutions while promoting a strong team culture. You will address complex issues by building trust through reliable testing methodologies and automation.

You Will

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to validate system functionality.

• Define and maintain test plans, test cases, and QA processes to ensure system reliability, availability and security for our SaaS platform.

• Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure quality in every stage of the development lifecycle, from early stages (analysis and design) to deployment.

• Automate test scenarios using Playwright (knowledge of Python and PHP is a plus).

• Reproduce and document bugs reported by users, ensuring their timely resolution.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and engineering practices.

What We Are Looking For

Key Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester.

• Experience with manual and automated testing for web applications.

• Strong knowledge of test case design, test planning, and regression testing.

• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.

• Effective communication with developers, product managers and stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Spanish (mandatory).

Nice to Have Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Playwright or similar test automation frameworks.

• Experience with non-functional tests (performance, stress, security, etc.).

• Experience with Python and PHP for test automation.

• Experience with Regression harness testing.

• Open API / API Rest and API testing knowledge.

• Familiarity with Docker (not mandatory but beneficial).

• Knowledge of MySQL or similar relational databases.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, GitLab).

• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).

• Be based in Spain.
