Remote Desktop Quick Start Guide for Administrators

In this tutorial, you will learn how to manage your remote desktop. You will find out how to monitor the service, edit users and install applications.

The Jotelulu remote desktop is an easy service to set up and manage that allows users to run all their day-to-day applications from any device or location using a simple URL.

Quick Start Guide for Administrators. How to manage the remote desktop service?

Before we begin:

Before we look at the remote desktop, it is important to mention that subscribing to the remote desktop service actually involves subscribing to two services at the same time (for more information, see the tutorial entitled: How to Add the Remote Desktop). Each of these subscriptions will have a card on the initial dashboard, and they are:

  1. Remote Desktop Subscription: this is where you can manage users, set permissions, choose connections methods, add applications and manage licences.
  2. Servers Subscription: this is where you can carry out any server-related tasks, such as expansions, resets, firewall tasks, backups, etc.

1. REMOTE DESKTOP 2. SERVERS

If you click on the Remote Desktop card, you will see a “Summary” section that shows an overview of the service and a number of other subsections.
