New distros on Servers: OpenSUSE and CentOS available

We now have new server distros! In response to multiple requests from our partners, we’ve enabled the option to choose new operating systems for server subscriptions.

That said, the 3 new distributions now available on the platform are:

  • SUSE Linux: A Linux-based operating system originally created based on the Slackware distribution, with origins in Germany. Its name comes from the acronym for Software und Systementwicklung, which means Software and Systems Development in English. The available SUSE Linux versions are:
    • SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 SP5
    • SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 SP6
  • CentOS Stream 9: The latest major version of the CentOS Stream distribution. It comes from the collaboration between the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) engineering team and the CentOS community.

This way, with these new distributions, we now cover all 3 major families of open-source operating systems on the market. Check them all out!

Where can I find these new server distros?

To access these templates, you’ll need to deploy a server and review during the process:
