A little background
Who exactly are we?
Our story is the one of a group of Cloud and technology enthusiasts who always had a clear goal: make things much easier for tech companies. Since no one was really stepping up to fill that gap in Spain’s Cloud sector, we figured—why not build our own product?
We started small, and now we’re over 130 people and still growing. Today, Jotelulu’s products are used in thousands of offices and businesses in retail, construction, industry, hospitality, transportation, and more, across over 8 countries in Europe and the Americas.
Every step we take is driven by the desire to do things better, bring something new, and shake things up—because that’s the only way innovation truly has meaning.
The challenge
What are we up to these days?
After years of growing and iterating on our current product, we’re now at a really exciting turning point. Soon, we’ll start envisioning Jotelulu 2.0—the reinvention of our product—and we’d love for you to lead that change from a design perspective, working closely with our product and tech teams. It’s an ambitious goal, and the perfect time to join the company.
The role
What are we looking for?
We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer—a strategic thinker, pixel-perfect executor, and advocate for the user—to redefine how businesses interact with cloud technology. You’ll tackle the ultimate design challenge: distilling infrastructure-heavy workflows into intuitive, frictionless experiences that empower both technical partners and everyday users. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you’ll own the end-to-end design process for key product areas, collaborating with engineers, PMs, and stakeholders to turn technical wizardry into interfaces that feel obvious.
This isn’t just about pretty pixels (though we love those too!)—it’s about designing solutions that make the impossible feel effortless.
What will make us fall in love with you as a candidate?
It will be a perfect match if…
- You are proactive. You are able to anticipate challenges and bring forward new ideas without waiting for direction.
- You prioritize clarity over clutter. You turn chaos into calm, making advanced features feel approachable.
- You rock in strategic storytelling. You articulate design rationale in a way that wins over engineers and executives alike.
- You are brave & creative. You iterate fast, embrace feedback, and solve problems others deem “too technical.”
- You simplify the complex. Design intuitive user experiences that make complex cloud tools accessible for both IT professionals and SMB users
- Ownership. You can lead the full design cycle. Lead end-to-end design—from research to polished UI—while building scalable, consistent design systems.
- You love being the bridge between tech and humanity. Collaborate cross-functionally to turn technical possibilities into user-centered, business-driven design solutions.
- For you, user always goes first. Champion user-centric design through research, data, and cross-functional alignment.
- Trust. You know how to have difficult conversations, giving thoughtful feedback to the team – always with the intention to build – and being able to receive feedback with a positive attitude.
Requirements that are important for us
Please, only apply if you match these.
- A senior level. +4 years in product design, with a strong portfolio to showcase your work.
- Mastery of design tools. Mainly Figma supported by AI used in the right way —coupled with expertise in prototyping (Framer, ProtoPie, etc.) and user testing. Bonus points for experience with animation tools like Principle, After Effects, etc.
- English skills. Intermediate level required. You should be able to communicate with our international teams and foreign colleagues working in our office — Level B1, while B2 or more is a plus.
Design
- Strong thinking on UX. Experience conceptualizing and defining UX for complex digital products. Your are a rockstar simplifying complex systems (if you have experience in SaaS, cloud, developer tools or enterprise software will be an extra value).
- UI sensibility. A strong sensitivity for UI—you deeply value the beauty of digital products and strive to create experiences that blend strategy, business, and emotion.
- Design system expertise. Solid experience building and managing large, multi-product Design Systems—both hands-on and strategically—with deep knowledge of tokens, variants, themes, and shared libraries.
- Effectiveness. Ability to make fast, tactical design and product decisions.
- Technical collaboration. You speak engineers’ language and thrive in technical environments. You know how to document your work and collaborate alongside technical profiles. Strong understanding of development needs, possibilities, and limitations—able to propose brilliant, yet feasible and scalable solutions within an organization.
Product
- Mindset. Ability to strike the right balance between user needs, design vision, and business goals when making decisions.
- Research. Solid knowledge of Design Research—knows what to investigate, which methods to use based on available resources and timing, and, most importantly, how to extract meaningful insights.
- Data-informed mindset. You pair intuition with metrics—A/B tests, funnel analysis, usability studies—to validate decisions. You know what data to ask for, how to interpret it, and how to apply it to improve the product.
- Collaboration. Able to clearly articulate design solutions and communicate product features in a simple, understandable way to both the development team and stakeholders.
